GRI-977143 (325850-81-5) is a selective agonist of the lysophosphatidic acid-2 (LPA2) receptor. Displays antiapoptotic activity.1 Rescues apoptotically condemned cells from death and injury caused by high-dose γ-irradiation in vitro and in vivo. GRI-977143 rescues mice from deadly levels of radiation when given 24 hours post-exposure.2 Activates the ERK1/2 prosurvival pathway.2
