A1899 (498577-46-1) is a potent and selective blocker of the two-pore domain potassium channels K2P3.1 (TASK-1; IC50 = 7 nM) and K2P9.1 (TASK-3; IC50 = 70 nM).1 It stimulated breathing in isoflurane-anesthetized rats.2
