BAM15 attenuates sepsis hyperinflammation

P. Hiengrach and coworkers recently showed that BAM15, a mitochondrial uncoupling agent, attenuated sepsis in a mouse cecal ligation and puncture model. BAM15 attenuated sepsis as indicated by organ histology, spleen apoptosis, brain injury, systemic inflammation, blood-brain barrier damage and survival.
