“New” paclitaxel mechanism of action

There has been a paradigm shift in the view of how taxol works–rather than stopping cell division, it causes cell death due to chromosomal instability via multipolar mitotic spindles. Weaver and colleagues et al. previously discovered this in situ; now they have also demonstrated it relevant human cellular models.
