DHP-103 (2775311-82-3) is a potent (IC50 = 6 nM) blocker of the intermediate-conductance calcium-activated potassium channel KCa3.1. It displays exquisite selectivity over calcium channels.  It blocked mutant KCa3.1 channels that cause hereditary xerocytosis and reduced infarct volume, improved balance beam performance, and reduced activated microglia in a rat model of acute ischemic stroke.
