Nintedanib (656247-17-5) is a  potent inhibitor of VEGFR, PDGFR, FGFR (IC50 = 13-34 nM for VEGFR, 59-65 nM for PDGFR and 37-108 nM for FGFR subtypes).1 Also inhibits Flt-3, Lck, Lyn and Src (IC50 = 16-156 nM). Inhibits VEGF-stimulated proliferation of HUVECs.1 Inhibits tumor growth in a mouse tumor xenograft model.1 A novel therapeutic agent for treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.2,3 Alleviates chronic pancreatitis by inhibiting the activation of pancreatic stellate cells.4
