Journal Club: Lisa Pallareti and coworkers at Univ. Copenhagen reported on the pharmacological characterization of agonists and antagonists of the orphan receptor GPR139. GPR139 is predominantly expressed in the CNS and has attracted considerable interest as a therapeutic target lately. JNJ-63533054 remains an important agonist in the GPR139 toolbox.
