S-Farnesyl-L-cysteine methyl ester (125741-64-2) stimulates multidrug resistance transporter ATPase activity (4-5 fold at 10-20 µM) and competes for drug binding.1 It modifies the carboxyl terminus of the Saccharomyces cerevisiae RAS2 protein.2
