SBP-5147 is a potent (IC50 = 2 nM) inhibitor of ULK1/2. It decreased autophagic flux in A549 cells and reduced viability of various NSCLC lung cancer cells (and induced apoptosis) without affecting non-cancerous cells.  SBP-5147 treatment also increased expression of major histocompatibility complex I (MHC-I) in lung cancer cells suggesting therapeutic utility in conjunction with immune checkpoint therapy.
