T863 (701232-20-4) is a potent (IC50 = 49 nM CPM fluorescent assay; 17 nM TLC assay) and selective (against DGAT2 and MGATs 2 and 3) inhibitor of diacylglycerol transferase 1 (DGAT1). In mice, it caused weight loss, increased insulin sensitivity, alleviated hepatic steatosis, and reduced triglyceride and cholesterol levels.
