TN-2-30 (943820-93-7) is part of the chemical cocktail SCF/2i-IG that enables the long-term expansion of mouse and human granulocyte-monocyte progenitor (GMP) cells.1 This cocktail allows extensive clonal expansion while retaining canonical immunophenotype, GMP-like chromatin and transcriptional profiles, and intact myeloid differentiation outputs.  TN-2-30 was found to contribute to these effects via myeloperoxidase inhibition. TN-2-30 was originally found to be a Wnt/ß-catenin agonist2, but this pathway was not involved in the enhancement of clonal expansion. An interesting new tool for exploring the use of expandable GMPs for engineered tumor immunotherapy.
