TWS-119 (601514-19-6) is a potent inhibitor of GSK-3ß (IC50 = 30 nM).1 At higher concentrations (400 nM), it induces neurogenesis in mouse embryonic stem cells.1 It maintained hepatic stellate cells in the quiescent state.2 TWS119 treatment increased the amount of stem cell-like memory CD8+ T cells3, enhanced metabolic fitness of CD8+ T cells4, and prevented CD8+ differentiation5. It displayed neuroprotective effects in models of cerebral ischemia.6,7 TWS199 greatly increased the efficacy of NK cells against myeloma.8
