Vigabatrin (68506-86-5) is a selective GABA transaminase (GABA-T) inhibitor thus increasing brain and CSF GABA levels.1 It prevents the development of morphine tolerance in mice.2 Displays analgesic effects in the acute thermal pain model in mice.3 It is a clinically useful anti-seizure agent.4
