CYM-5442 (1094042-01-9) is a potent (EC50 = 1.35 nM) and highly selective agonist of sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor 1 (S1P1).1 It binds to a hydrophobic pocket distinct from the orthosteric sphingosine-1-phosphate binding site while still inducing and maintaining lymphopenia. CYM-5442 was active in a mouse model of multiple sclerosis.2
