Fluvastatin Na | HMG CoA reductase inhibitor

Fluvastatin Na (CAS 93957-55-2) is a potent inhibitor of HMG-CoA reductase, IC50=40-100 nM.1  Clinically useful, orally active antihypercholesterolemic agent. Inhibits vascular smooth muscle proliferation, IC50=70 nM.2 Displays antineuroinflammatory activity.3 Prevents lung adenocarcinoma bone metastasis by triggering autophagy.4 Attenuates cell proliferation in hepatocellular carcinoma.5
