ABT-737 (852808-04-9) is an inhibitor of anti-apoptotic proteins from the Bcl family: Bcl-2, Bcl-X(L), and Bcl-w (Ki < 1 nM) that causes regression of solid tumors in mice.1 Senolytic agent which disrupts aberrant p21 expression, inducing apoptosis in senescent cells, and enhancing liver regeneration in mice.2,3 Acts synergistically to reduce cell viability when combined with CDK inhibitor purvalanol A in preclinical models of acute myeloid leukemia (AML).4
