Cytokine modulators

Cytokines are a diverse group of small proteins comprising interleukins, interferons, chemokines, lymphokines, and tumor necrosis factors (TNF). Not only are they key players in inflammation and immune response, but they also have roles in wound healing, cell cycling and death, and cancer progression. Their receptors are just as diverse, being immunoglobulins and transmembrane proteins that transmit signals via kinases and GPCRs.
