DNA Damage/Repair

The dysregulation of the balance of DNA damage and repair leads to genomic mutation and is primary to tumor development and progression. It can also be involved in neurodegeneration and inflammation. The balance can be perturbed by mutagens, radiation, inherited mutations, inflammation, and cell cycle disruption.
