Molecular Glues

Molecular glues are compounds that induce protein-protein interactions between a target protein and ubiquitin ligases leading to target protein degradation via the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway. Glues are more promising “proximity-inducing” agents than heterobifunctional agents (i.e. PROTACS) because of their more drug-like character.
